Tomato belongs to the Solanaceae family and is considered to be native to South America. Tomatoes are considered as both fruit and vegetable and are used in variety of recipes in many forms such as puree, dried, powdered, raw or juice etc. Tomatoes are packed with vitamin C and many other vital nutrients which are essential for our body moreover tomatoes are available through out the year. Eating tomatoes on daily basis helps to make your immune system stronger.
