HEALTHY VEGAN KABAB RECIPE

Vegan kabab can be made by using any vegetable of your choice, which you like the most and even add those which you do not like because it will balance the taste. Try this easy recipe at your home and your family will surely love it…..

RECIPE TO MAKE VEGAN KABAB :

PREP TIME : 15 MIN

MARINATION TIME : 30 MIN

COOKING TIME : 10 MIN

INGREDIENTS :

  1. Onion – 1 medium sized
  2. Tomato – 1 medium sized
  3. Capsicum – 1 medium sized
  4. Mushroom – 5-6
  5. Zucchini – 1/2
  6. Carrot – 1
  7. Salt – as per taste
  8. Black pepper – 1 tsp
  9. Oil – 2 tsp
  10. Chopped garlic – 1 tsp
  11. Chopped ginger – 1 tsp
  12. Plant based hung curd – 4 tbsp
  13. Charcoal – 1 small piece

METHOD :

  1. Cut all the vegetables in a cube shape and remove the seeds of tomato
  2. Take a large bowl add hung curd, salt, pepper, chopped ginger & garlic in it
  3. Mix everything properly
  4. Now add all the vegetable in the paste and mix properly to coat each vegetable with the marinade
  5. Keep this bowl in refrigerator for 30 min, so that coating sticks to the vegetables properly
  6. After 30 min take the vegetables out and start skewing them in skewers
  7. Now take a flat non-stick pan or a grill pan
  8. Brush some oil on it
  9. Keep the skewers stick in heated oil on low flame
  10. Cook the vegetables for 3-4 min on one side and flip to other side
  11. Again cook for 3- 4 min on the other side, you will see little black spots on the vegetables which will give them roasted flavour
  12. Take them out from the pan after they are completely cooked
  13. To give it more roasted and charcoal flavour, take the cooked vegetable out of the skewers
  14. Add them in a large bowl and make a small space in between
  15. Heat the piece of charcoal on medium flame
  16. Now keep a small bowl in centre of the vegetables, place the heated charcoal and pour a little oil on it
  17. Now cover the bowl for 5 min , so that the flavour of charcoal to infuse in the vegetables
  18. Now remove the lead and charcoal and serve roasted vegan kabab hot.
